My name is Willem Pieters and I am a biokineticist from
Cape Town, South Africa. I believe that to live is to move. Thats what Biokinetics means: Life Through Movement. I love helping people to move and in so doing, to reach their full potential.
Covid-19 has had a huge impact on the way in which we move and exercise. This is my attempt to bring my expertise into the comfort and safety of your own home.
Apart from orthopaedic rehabilitation, I also specialise in strength training for runners and cyclists. A strong base is so important for both of these sports. By doing just one specific strength session a week, you could not only reduce your risk of getting injured, but improve your performance too.
I have developed my training regime by working with a variety of people, and always love adapting my program to new clients. I have experience in training for, and taking part in various endurance events which include the Comrades Marathon, the Two Oceans Marathon, Ironman, and various others.
I am passionate about movement and look forward to sharing this passion with you.
My name is Jessica Hamilton and I live and work in Cape Town. Movement has always been a major part of my life.
Being able is empowering. To move specifically and to be in complete control makes you realize that anything is possible. We all have this ability. Everyday I am inspired by my body’s ability to strengthen, endure, adapt and heal. My body is always working for me- it’s my greatest supporter. I take comfort in this and I am grateful.
My body inspired me to do what I love- assist individuals to realize their own potential and empower them through strength and movement. I am a fitness trainer, pilates instructor and have also studied nutrition. I believe the best form of strength and strength building is from your own body. I am driven to keep learning, growing and challenging myself and thrive off guiding people to do the same.
I feel privileged to have this platform to reach out to people and work alongside them. Our fast paced and demanding lives often leave us with no time for ourselves and self is neglected. This platform will enable me to work with you when it suits and aims to inspire you to celebrate your body, celebrate your strength and be the best that you can be.
